Dalton Collabello bought a military surplus crate in Saestus containing prototype ship weapons designed by Aegis Dynamics engineer Juliet Malpin in the early 2790s for the Messer government.
2
Malpin developed a ballistic Gatling gun and a mass driver under the classified codename Genly Engineering Solutions, named after her young son.
3
The crate was lost for over a century after the collapse of the Messer regime, when the UEE military was diverted to suppress the Garron 2 rebellion.
4
Collabello spent years tracking down Malpin's original design documents through census records, private investigators, and eventually her great-granddaughter, before selling his construction business to launch Apocalypse Arms in 2913.
5
Apocalypse Arms controversially marketed its weapons by openly acknowledging their Messer origins, which hurt its reputation in some circles but proved commercially effective.
